Seeking Protection for Children

Ibn ʿAbbās (radiy Allāhū ‘anhumā) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek Allah’s protection for Ḥasan and Ḥusayn (radiy Allāhū ʿanhumā) and say: “Your forefather (i.e. Ibrāhīm) used to seek refuge with Allah for Ismaʿīl and Isḥāq by reciting the [the above].” (Bukhārī 3371)Jābir (radiy Allāhū ‘anhu) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When the evening comes, keep your children in, for the devils come out at that time. Then when part of the night has passed, let them go. And close the doors and mention the name of Allah, for Shaytān does not open a closed door. Tie up your waterskins and mention the name of Allah.Cover your vessels, even if you only put something over them and extinguish your lamps.” (Bukhārī 3280)

ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حسن و حسین رضی اللہ عنہما کے لیے اللہ سے پناہ مانگتے تھے اور فرماتے تھے: تمہارے جد امجد (یعنی ابراہیم علیہ السلام) اللہ تعالیٰ سے اسماء اور اسماء کی پناہ مانگتے تھے۔ [اوپر کی] تلاوت کرنا۔" (بخاری 3371) سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب شام ہو جائے تو اپنے بچوں کو اندر رکھ لیا کرو، کیونکہ اس وقت شیطان نکل آتے ہیں، پھر جب رات کا کچھ حصہ گزر جائے تو انہیں جانے دو، اور دروازے بند کر لو اور اللہ کا نام لیا کرو، کیونکہ شیطان تمہارے بند دروازے کو کھولتا ہے اور اللہ کا ذکر نہیں کرتا۔ برتن، چاہے آپ ان پر کچھ ڈالیں اور اپنے چراغ بجھا دیں۔" (بخاری 3280)
