حضرت براء رضی الله عنه سے روایت ہے که انہوں نے کہا ہم رسول الله صلی الله علیه وسلم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھتے تھے تو ہمیں پسند تھا که ہم آپ کے داہنی طرف ہوں تاکه آپ صلی الله علیه وسلم ہماری طرف منه کر کے بیٹھیں، میں نے سنا آپ صلی الله علیه وسلم فرما رہے تھے رَبِّ قِنِیْ عَذَابَکَ یَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَکَ۔ اے میرے رب! مجھے اپنے عذاب سے بچانا جس دن تو اپنے بندوں کو اٹھائے گا۔(صحیح مسلم: 1642)
