Tasbih, Tahmid and Takbir

Amr b. Shuʿayb narrates from his father who narrates from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “He who says ‘Subḥānallāh’ 100 times before sunrise and 100 times before sunset, it will be better than 100 camels. He who says ‘Alḥamdullilāh’ 100 times before sunrise and 100 times before sunset, it will be better than 100 horses on which he sends 100 warriors. He who says ‘Allāhu Akbar’ 100 times before sunrise and 100 times before sunset, it will be better than freeing 100 slaves.” (Nasā’ī: al-Sunan al-Kubrā 10657)

عمرو بی شعیب رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنے دادا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے سورج نکلنے سے پہلے اور غروب آفتاب سے پہلے 100 مرتبہ سبحان اللہ کہا، وہ سو اونٹوں سے بہتر ہے، اور جس نے سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے 100 مرتبہ الحمدللہ کہا، وہ سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے 100 مرتبہ پڑھے گا۔ 100 گھوڑے جن پر سوار ہو کر 100 جنگجو بھیجے جو سورج نکلنے سے پہلے 100 بار اور غروب آفتاب سے پہلے 100 بار اللہ اکبر کہے تو یہ 100 غلام آزاد کرنے سے بہتر ہے۔ (نسائی: السنن الکبریٰ 10657)
