Abū Hurayrah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) narrates that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say [the above]. (Muslim 2601)In another narration Abū Hurayrah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “O Allah, I am only a human being. Whenever I scold, curse, or punish a Muslim man, then turn it into purification and mercy for him.” (Bukhārī 6000)
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا۔ (مسلم 2601) ایک اور روایت میں ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اے اللہ میں تو صرف ایک انسان ہوں، میں جب بھی کسی مسلمان کو ڈانٹوں، لعنت کروں یا سزا دوں تو اسے اس کے لیے پاکیزگی اور رحمت بنا دے۔ (بخاری 6000)
