Allāhumma-ghfir lil-mu’minīna wa-l-mu’mināt.
O Allah, forgive the believing men and the believing women.
اے اللہ مومن مردوں اور مومن عورتوں کو بخش دے۔
Umm Salamah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhā) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever says [the above] everyday, he will receive a reward for every believer.” (Tabarānī in Muʿjam al-Kabīr 23/370)ʿUbādah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and women, Allah will write a good deed for every believing man and woman.” (Tabarānī in Musnad al-Shāmiyyīn 2155)
ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا روایت کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے روزانہ یہ کہا، اس کو ہر مومن کے برابر ثواب ملے گا۔ (طبرانی معجم الکبیر 23/370 میں) عبادہ رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص مومن مردوں اور عورتوں کے لیے استغفار کرے گا، اللہ تعالیٰ ہر مومن مرد اور عورت کے لیے ایک نیکی لکھے گا۔ (طبرانی مسند الشامین 2155 میں)
